What's your policy on stolen goods?Updated 19 days ago
Delivery Responsibility
Under consumer protection laws, we are responsible for your order until it is delivered to you. Responsibility for the goods passes to you when:
You (or a third party you nominated) acquire physical possession of the goods; or
The goods are delivered to a "safe place" or a neighbor that you explicitly authorized in your delivery instructions.
Liability for Stolen Goods
Authorized Drops: If you instructed the carrier to leave the package in a specific location (e.g., "behind the gate") and it is stolen after being left there, we are not liable.
Unauthorized Drops: If the carrier leaves the package unattended without your specific permission and it is stolen, please contact us immediately.
When We Can Help We will resolve any issue where:
The package is lost in transit.
The package is delivered to the wrong address.
The package is stolen after being left in an unsecured location without your permission.
Recommendations for All Customers
Regardless of your location, we recommend these steps to ensure a smooth delivery:
Specific Instructions: Provide details for the driver (e.g., "Leave behind the gate," "Place inside the porch") to keep the package out of sight.
Secure Address: If you won't be home, consider shipping to a workplace or a trusted neighbor.
Monitor Tracking: Keep an eye on your tracking link to retrieve your package promptly upon arrival.
